Q: What currency are our rates quoted in? A: Euro (approximately 1EURO = 0.78STG) Q: I notice I can only select a town as a delivery location - how can I specify a particular hotel? A: This information is entered at Step 3 of the booking process. Our rental partners will deliver to any hotel in any of the towns shown on our site, leaving keys for you behind the reception desk. Q: I’ve booked a last-minute deal and don’t know my hotel yet - how will my car be delivered? A: When you are asked to enter a specific location in Step 3, enter “UNKNOWN” in the box. Upon arrival in Cyprus, contact your designated rental company directly to arrange delivery. Contact details are given with your booking confirmation. Q: Can cars be delivered to a private villa instead of a hotel? A: Unfortunately not. Deliveries can only be done to places with a 24-hour reception desk so that our rental partners can collect their vehicles overnight. If you are staying in a private villa we recommend you request to pick-up your car from an airport location. Unlike most companies we do not impose an extra surcharge for airport reservations. Q: What do I do with my luggage? Can I order a roof rack? A: Because many of the vehicles used by our rental partners are unsuitable to have roof-racks fitted safely, they are not an extra that we offer. Instead, to help you decide which vehicle is big enough for your trip, our ‘Cars And Rates’ page gives you a guide to the internal luggage capacity of each car type. Q: My holiday insurance does not cover me if anything happens whilst I’m in charge of a motor vehicle. What happens if I have an accident? A: All our rates include 3rd party insurance and collision damage waiver, so in the event of an accident you would only need to pay the policy excess. This is EUR200 for Groups A-D, EUR1000 for Groups E-H. Alternatively, for complete peace of mind, you could select our Zero Excess supplement for only EUR6.00 per day extra - this not only cancels out the excess but also includes insurance cover for the tyres, windscreen and oil-sump for complete peace of mind. Q: What happens with regards to fuel? A: All cars are delivered with a full tank of fuel which must be paid for at the start of your rental. Hirers are obliged to purchase fuel in advance(return with an empty tank) Q: What do I do if, when I’m in Cyprus, I decide I want to keep the car a bit longer than I originally booked? A: Contact your selected rental company directly to inform them of your request. This must be done at least 24 hours before your original booking is due to finish. They will arrange to process the additional payment and alter your rental agreement accordingly. Q: Can I take my car across the border into the Northern part of Cyprus? A: As specified in our Terms & Conditions, the vehicles of our rental partners are not permitted to be taken into the occupied Northern Area due to insurance limitations. All cars must remain within the internationally-recognised boundaries of the Republic Of Cyprus.
